The PSC Contracts Specialist helps USAID offices procure humanitarian personnel around the world. The Personal Services Contract (PSC) recruitment mechanism allows OFDA to enter into fast and flexible contracts with disaster relief experts. The PSC team`s contract specialists focus on the contracting part of the purchasing workflow. The contract specialists will be in close cooperation with the Government, current contractors and the contracting entities selected for the award of contracts. The contract specialist should also be familiar with the procedures for induction of staff, since his workload is a staff element.
